I get back from class with an IM from erika saying "I HAVE A STORY TO TELL YOU"
she then proceeded to tell me a wonderful story about unclogging a toilet from the biggest turd she had ever seen in her life.
that can only be a highlight of the day to a camp counselor or someone who is out of their mind.

alright kiddies....
im back in michigan.....however i doubt i will see any of you till march because that is when my first open weekend is...spring break....6 weeks from now.
classes start for me on monday (yeah i know, im lucky, im not trying to rub this in)
i was just on a mission trip for the last two weeks doing huricaine relief. i put two roofs on houses, which i was the forman of the site for because i know how to roof....and somehow NO ONE else on my team did. then i got to hang some dry wall and mud it a little. that was fun.
if you want to see some pictures and dont have facebook let me know and i will post some on here for you to see. the devistation is still horrible down there. we dont hear a thing about it up here, but when you get down there you would think that the storm hit just last week in some places...of course the hotels and casinos are back up and running...so people think everything is fine now....but its not, its still absolute devistation for some people. all 3 of the houses i worked on the residents were still living in fema trailers.
not trying to tell you what to do or anything, but if you have the time and money i would suggest going down there and helping out. i might go back down over spring break, and possibly again in may before camp. let me know if you'd be down for this

concert last night = awesome
hanging out with hil, adam, dave, dan and mj = awesome
coming back to school and partying at goodrich = awesome - the fact that it was cold as shit outside
new haircut = AMAZING...but i may have gotten called a "hair slut" and three people might have asked mj if i like them....shes totally blocking my flow though....she wont tell me who they are! all of this happened when i was walking one of my drunk friends back to her room...bc im nice like that

so i was supposed to have this final exam today. its for a music class and how it works is our prof gave us a list of 16 songs and for the exam would play 5 and we would have to identify a bunch of things about the song and write an essay, one page, front and back (of loose leaf, not blue book) on each one....all of this in 50 minutes.
so this week had to be the crazies week of my life...meetings every day, multiple hours of the day, its coming down to the wire for my blue mountain trip so ive been working on that like crazy (im the pres of the ski and snwboard club so i have to talk to our travel agent and blue mtn and all this crazy planning shit). ive had papers due in other classes, campus wide worship (i play in the band, aka practice 3 times this week), and my mom has been stressing about the agape concert aka calling me all the damn time.
so from that i had no time to study untill last night at about 7pm. i was planning on staying up for a while (if not all night). then hilary came over and i was like "eh, fuck it, i'll just wake up in the morning and study" (never a good plan). so, the power goes out last night..awesome, no alarm clock. wake up at 9:50 and am like "FUCK, i need to study!" (test at 11). check my email....prof emailed us....she couldnt get to school today because of the ice storm last night! fuck yeah!

so now that my paper that ended up being 49 pages is done, and my other paper that was due today is turned in...the rest of my week shoudl be nothing...
just...
tomorrow - class 10-12, ski and snowboard club table to recruit 12-1, lunch - 1-im done, work -when im done till 330ish, lax practice 5-7, chapel 730-1030, ski and snowboard club officer meeting 1030-1130ish, then hw bc im wayyyy behind bc that damn paper
thursday - easy day - ski and snowboard club table 12-1, class 2-330, work 330-5, ski and snowboard club meeting 10 hw throughout
friday - class 10-12, house dinner/meeting 7
Saturday - lax tourney at cmu 6am-7pmish games at 9, 1030 and 130
sunday - SLEEP

this week is actually not out of control...
today - lacrosse practice 5-7, IM soccer at 10
tomorrow - flute concert for my music appreciation class (going to it, i obviously dont play flute)
wed - quiz (bitches), lacrosse 5-7, chapel practice 8-9, chapel 9-10, clean up till we're done
thursday NOTHING! yeah buddy! but i'll probably work on my paper thats due next wed. 45 page minimum
friday - nothing! yay!
saturday - practicing sometime with adam and mr foster for church
sunday - church at 930 (come see me and adam play all the music), chapel practice 8, pek 9-10.
hooray for a not crazy week! but im sure shit will come up and it will get somewhat more crazy
